The Black Paths Active Travel Signature Scheme will upgrade and extend the existing network to create a continuous ~10km walking, wheeling and cycling route connecting Portadown and Lurgan train stations via Craigavon.
Objectives
- Enhance local connectivity between communities, public transport hubs, employment areas, and essential services.
- Provide a safe, direct and attractive route for all active travel users.
- Gather local community feedback on area-specific issues and opportunities when consultation opens on 16th Nov 2026.
